I have 12 years' experience serving as a councillor with the Twon. I owned a business in Tottenham for 7 years and served as a board member on the Chamber of Commerce. I am currently the Executive Director at Next Step Literacy, a charity that offers free adult tutoring. I have been a resident for 25 years and understand the workings of municipal government and how to get things done. I also understand the economic challenges of running both a business and a household. I also understand that for many residents, road safety and good road conditions is a priority. I have a strong appreciation for the small town and rural nature of our community and I have been working hard to preserve it.
Platform
Ensure new developments contribute to our community rather than being a burden to existing residents. Prioritize core services municipalities are mandated to deliver, like roads, libraries, parks, recreation, fire and OPP. Continue to push for repairs and improvements to roads in Ward 6.

What will you do to resist AI infrastructure/data centres being built in our communities if they are proposed? It seems like there is a huge disconnect between what the people want and the choices those in power are making. We don’t want data centres EVER in New Tec!

Are you going to do anything about this homeless situations in this town . What ideas do you have to help this matter . The residents of Alliston are feed up with their properties being damaged and personal items being stolen, and the fear of our children picking up discarded contaminated needles and we all know what can happen with that . Action needs to be taken now , we have had enough .

Seasonal off-leash dog areas
Some municipalities, including Toronto, use seasonal off-leash designations to make better use of park spaces when they aren’t being used for their primary purpose.
Could the Town consider a similar approach here by designating certain sports fields or other suitable public spaces as off-leash dog areas during their off-season? This could provide residents with more legal opportunities to exercise their dogs off leash without requiring the Town to create entirely new dedicated spaces.
