Growth is inevitable. So let's do it right. Vertical, or dense growth has several positives such as more affordable homes, new transit opportunities and a influx of services to best serve this concentration of residents. We would also be able to withstand the growth demands on our agricultural lands far into the future. I still remember when New Tecumseth was deemed big enough for a Swiss Chalet! Then and East Side Marios!! Yes I'm a bit motivated by food but when the Walmart got here I think residents were just as excited! Growth that involves sprawl spreads out our services which will cost the town more to maintain. Just trying to get a quick answer in here so that we can see how effective PODIUM is.
